Ok, so I like the idea of this but as Linda mentioned, this took a TON of time and I am still having trouble with the volume. I got a video from Youtube and I made a few comments but you can barely hear them. Not sure how to change it once its added. That will be my question for next week....
I liked your screencast. Do you have a smartboard at school? If yes I think it will be much easier to use the screen capture tool that goes with the smartboard. Good job!
ReplyDeleteYour voice came through loud and clear in the beginning, Teri. I liked how you used your voice as an add-on to the video. I want to blame the volume thing on the limitations of screenr. You cannot adjust as many things with screenr as you can with other programs, but it sure is easy to use! I like that part!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it didn't seem like your video worked very well in the screen cast tool. Though it was a good video. I agree with Nancy, it is probably an issue with the program, maybe it is not well suited to video. I noticed the same thing when I did a short video clip in my screen cast, that the volume was really quiet. Sorry, no answers though. ;)
ReplyDeleteI liked the video. I didn't think about using a video and then recording. Could be great for instruction on days when we are gone. I think once we are back at school and can use the SMART program, that will be better.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think of doing it this way either. I thought more of narrating what you are doing on the screen as a kind of tutorial or way to point out certain details. I wonder if recording sound from the computer requires a USB mic or something. Hmmm. I'll play around with it...
ReplyDeleteI watch your video before trying this activity. I decided I had to come in to do this one. Sorry it didn't work for you, but you helped me.
